About this organization
Mission
Provide services to victims of sexual assault and abuse, their family and friends. Services include a 24 hour crisis - information and referral line, medical and legal advocacy, support groups, individual and group therapy. We also provide education, professional training and community education.
About
Our advocacy program provides a 24 hour daily crisis intervention and information and referral line that provides support and guidance to recent victims and can even meet them on site at hospitals or police stations. Often calls for service are received from nurses tending to a recent rape victim. On-going advocacy is offered that can help victims with longer term medical and legal proceedings, whether it involves obtaining a no- contact order, testifying in the perpetrator's trial or regarding custody disputes or divorce.
