About this organization
Mission
We connect families to educational opportunities that build financial stability and create generational change.
About
Since 1907, Seattle Milk Fund, now Goodwin Connections, connects families to educational opportunities that build financial stability and create generational change. In 2018-19, Seattle Milk Fund supported 500 family members through its family connections program. By making childcare and preschool more affordable and consistent for low-income families, it empowers parents to attend college full-time, do well in school, graduate in a timely manner, and embark on a career that pays a living wage. When parents are accepted into the program they become eligible for more affordable childcare or preschool for their children from the first day they enter the program through graduation day. All family members receive year-round basic needs support. Our students are determined. We are proud of our student parents' 95% quarter completion.
