DOUBLE EXPOSURE 2018 SCREENED TWENTY NEW FILMS DRIVEN BY THE INVESTIGATIVE INSTINCT TO AUDIENCES AT THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION'S NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY AND THE NAVAL HERITAGE CENTER. THESE INCLUDED 15 FEATURE LENGTH FILMS AND FIVE SHORT FILMS, DOMINATED BY WORLD, U.S. OR WASHINGTON PREMIERES. TIMELY DOCUMENTARY FILMS INVESTIGATED #METOO THROUGH THE PRISM OF A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM; RUSSIAN DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGNS; WATERGATE; SLAVERY, BOTH DOMESTIC AND ON THE HIGH SEAS, FALSE CONFESSIONS AND MUCH ELSE.
