Youth education: In 20182019, MPC helped the National Park Service to reach 22,683 students. To do this, we hired a new education coordinator, who is managing our river educator program. We have hired 6 river educators who work on a per diem basis to support youth education programs. We hired three Mississippi River education fellows (college aged interns of color) to work on canoemobile and other related environmental education programs.
