Mission
To honor our ancestors and future generations through stories that make Indigenous peoples come alive.
About
IndiJ Public Media, a nonprofit news organization, serves to advance Indigenous journalism through its digital and broadcast divisions known as ICT. ICT’s mission is to share more stories from Indigenous communities, told by Indigenous voices. Formerly Indian Country Today, ICT focuses exclusively on coverage of Indigenous issues through stories written and produced by Indigenous journalists. We tell these stories as only we can because we know our communities, their histories, and their complex issues. ICT is a division of IndiJ Public Media, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization covering issues that impact the Indigenous world.
