Mission

Support low income grassroots communities to participate in grassroots global economic development through community leadership, cultural development, instruction and training. Grassroots Global Justice (GGJ) is an alliance of over 60 US-based grassroots organizing (GRO) groups comprised of working and poor people and communities of color in 20 states across the US. GGJ brings GRO groups into a long-term process of relationship building, political alignment and transformational leadership development. We weave and bridge together US-based GRO groups and global social movements working for climate justice, gender justice, an end to war, and a just transition to a feminist economy.

J Street represents Americans, primarily but not exclusively Jewish, who support Israel and believe resolving the conflicts with its neighbors diplomatically is essential to securing its future as a democratic and Jewish homeland. We support the right of the Palestinians to a sovereign state of their own and believe that the only sustainable answer to the conflict – and the only way to achieve long-term security for Israel – is to have two states for the two peoples living side-by-side in peace and security. This is in the best interests of Israel, the United States, the Palestinians, and the region as a whole.
