To provide long term care and a better quality of life for children with life threatening diseases and life altering conditions, and their families and the communities that care for them. Support Programs are provided for grassroot, regional, US & International children's hospitals, schools, Hospices, orphanages, Relief & Abuse Shelters and Community Centers. Financial Assistance, Medical Care, Educational Scholarships, Camp and Recreational Activities, General Support, Outreach Programs, daily need supplies, therapeutic & educational supplies & programs for the children, families, communities and the caregiver system that support them are provided at no charge. Programs are operated throughout the United States and on a global basis. Due to economic trends causing more poverty, health & safety issues to families already struggling and due to all the recent natural disasters in communities throughout the United States, communities that Little Star has been supporting since approval status, Disaster Relief Support Program that is part of Little Star Foundation's Outreach Programs has grown to include on the ground support during challenging economic times, natural disasters and recovery efforts as well. The suffering children, families, care giver system and communities in the hard hit economic downturn and devastated areas often times have a long term history and prior relationship with Little Star which makes the support that much more affective than an organization that has no prior knowledge of the needs of the community prior to when the disaster strikes. Every Little Star Foundation program is provided free of charge.
