Camelot is a curriculum based therapeutic horseback riding program serving children and adults with disabilities. Path certified riding instructors teach 24 riders weekly in private, hour and a half long riding and driving lessons. In addition to riding lessons offered, Camelot serves hundreds annual through disability awareness training programs. Students enrolled in the program will learn all aspects of horsemanship and carriage driving. Riders will see improved muscle tone, flexibility, motor planning, and coordination, in addition to improved self-esteem, social skills, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Since inception in 1983, all services have been provided to participants and their families at no cost.
