Horses Help serves the special needs and at risk communities by using horses and people to improve quality of life.

Provide therapeutic equine programs for people with special needs as well as returning military. 6 riding sessions per year are offered. The program provided more than 9,000 equine adaptive activities and therapies using more than 2,500 volunteers, instructors, and therapists. Horses Help also hosted certification workshops through PATH Intl for instructors and equine practioners - over 100 equine professionals participated in these educational events. The program also partnered with Scottsdale Community College and other area therapeutic riding programs to offer low cost continuing education for equine professionals. Horses Help was also one of the two registered programs for the AZ Special Olympics equestrian program and held two events for Special Olympics competitors. Horses Help continues to have had a waiting list for all programs. Over the past 32 years, Horses Help has served people with over 53 different disabilities. During peak weeks, Horses Help provides over 150 riding lessons per week.
