The mission of the New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force is to create supportive environments in which breastfeeding is the cultural norm.

The task force is creating a breastfeeding supportive community and is committed to increasing breastfeeding initiation, duration and exclusivity. Through the state sponsored WIC peer counseling program, funding from the W.K.
