Mothers Without Borders offers hope in developing countries by strengthening local communities in their efforts to: 1) nurture children in crisis by providing a safe home, clean water, nutrition, education, and access to caring adults who invite healing from trauma; and 2) empower women and youth with literacy and business skills. We teach principles of conscious living, personal growth, and self-reliance to inspire each individual to be the best version of themselves.

CHILDREN'S RESOURCE CENTER - ZAMBIA: THE CRC IS AN ORPHAN CARE CENTER DESIGNED TO SERVE AS A TRANSITIONAL RESIDENCE FOR CHILDREN FOUND LIVING IN CHILD HEADED HOUSEHOLDS OR ON THE STREETS. OUR PURPOSE IS TO ADDRESS THEIR PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS, AND PROVIDE A LOVING ENVIRONMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN. IN MOST CASES THEY HAVE UNDERGONE TREMENDOUS LOSS AND ARE EXPERIENCING SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS AS A RESULT OF MALNUTRITION AND NEGLECT. DURING THE 2017/2018 FISCAL YEAR, WE CARED FOR 43 CHILDREN IN RESIDENCE; PROVIDING EDUCATION, FOOD, ALL HEALTH RELATED NEEDS INCLUDING HIV TREATMENT FOR 9 OF THE CHILDREN, GRIEF COUNSELING, ACCESS TO CARING ADULTS, SKILLS TRAINING AND RECREATION THERAPY.IN ADDITION, WE OPERATE A SCHOOL FOR 261 CHILDREN FROM THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY. WE SPONSORED 48 STUDENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL. WE INCREASED THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS WE TEACH FROM 230 TO 261.WE EMPLOYED 39 ZAMBIANS DURING THE 2017/2018 FISCAL YEAR TO RUN OUR PROGRAMMING IN ZAMBIA.WE ALSO PURCHASED A MAN-POWERED DRILL THAT WILL BE USED TO DIG BOREHOLES ON OUR PROPERTY TO INCREASE ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER.
