To respond to those who were uninsured or under-insured and whose unmet needs will not be covered by relief systems such as FEMA, the small business administration or the red cross. We will provide spiritual, emotional and physical resources to those affected by hurricane Katrina. Geographically, our efforts focus on St. Tammany and Washington parishes, Louisiana.

To provide short term relief for victims of hurricane disasters in the Gulf Coast region, and long term support in rebuilding the communities affected in the New Orleans area. Common Ground Relief is a community-initiated volunteer organization offering assistance, mutual aid and support. The work gives hope to communities by working with them, providing for their immediate needs and emphasizes people working together to rebuild their lives in sustainable ways. Common Ground Relief, Inc.'s primary purpose is to provide information and assistance in the rebuilding process of the city of New Orleans.
