About this organization
Mission
The FitOps Foundation trains, certifies, and finds employment for veterans in the fitness industry as certified personal trainers. FitOps organizes 3-week long camps, where fitness industry experts fly out to host classes and seminars where they deliver the most current and elite instruction.
About
Fitops Foundation will further its exempt purposes through its Camp Fitops program, which will create opportunities for veterans to obtain their certification as personal trainers. This will be done by first identifying those individuals who have served in a branch of the United States military, are passionate about fitness, and who wish to make a career of helping others achieve their personal physical best. Second, current personal trainers will volunteer their time to each teach a portion of the personal training curriculum. Lastly, during their practicum in local gyms and initially with volunteer clients, the veterans will start building the foundation for their future careers as personal trainers.
