Mission
Access4Bikes is a Marin non-profit 100% dedicated to maintaining and expanding mountain bike trail access in Marin County. Access4Bikes Foundation is an Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which we use primarily for trail projects.
About
It’s no secret Marin is a special place. Multitudes of people — from Marin as well as internationally — find “it” out on the trails of Marin. The redwoods and majestic oaks, the coastal vistas, the San Francisco and Bay views. The serenity, the challenge, the immersive experience, the community. These are just some of the things that draw us in and keep us coming back for more. We believe bikes are an appropriate way to experience all the above on much of our public lands. We also believe sharing the trails with other user groups is not just feasible, but productive. Donations to the A4B Foundation are for: Materials and services (such as this website) which help us educate the public on the state of mountain biking in Marin. Experts (geologists, soil engineers, biologists, etc.) to help craft formal proposals for new trails, realignments, change-in-use and decommissions with various Marin land managers. Contributions to other non-profit groups such as Friends of China Camp to restore, maintain and build new trails.
