About this organization
Mission
Eyes on Refugees works to maintain the human dignity of those fleeing war and persecution. Our mission is to help refugees find safe and dignified housing, and to empower assimilation into their new homeland. We bridge the gap between resettlement agencies and full assimilation.
About
Eyes on Refugees (EOR) fills a gap in the resettlement of refugees located in Eastern Massachusetts who have resided here for a few months. EOR picks up the slack when resettlement agencies are unable to provide additional government resources or cannot recertify refugee families for social welfare programs. EOR provides financial support to families in terms of food stamps, SNAP, WIC, apartment housing and help finding low paying jobs that are not skill matched. EOR helps refugees assimilate into their new domicile more easily by providing these services during the transition process. Most of our work is done locally, serving resettled refugees in Carlisle, Westford, Concord, Andover and Worcester, Mass.
