Activities undertaken in 2018 to achieve our mission include; administrative stewardship of the organization; working with the city of Minneapolis to pass Resolution 2018R-098 approving the redevelopment plan of the upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam and the surrounding area; working with the US Congress and stakeholders to achieve legislative language in the 2018 Water Resources Development Act, which directs the Corps to produce a report on the upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam; participated in USACE public meetings and agency meetings; advocated the PUC to direct Xcel Energy to terminate Crown Hydro's RDF grant; engaged our stakeholders; grew our coalition.
