Safer Crocker is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created in 2016 in response to a wave of serious crime in our neighborhood. Donations from our neighbors and sponsors allow us to promote the public safety of the residents within much of the Crocker Highlands neighborhood.

At Safer Crocker, we believe in the ability of communities to work together and address specific challenges that are important to them. We believe that a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment contributes significantly to the sense of fulfillment and pride of all Crocker Highlands residents. Since our founding in 2016, we have striven to become a catalyst for positive neighborliness, a depository of resources for residents and a forum to brainstorm, identify and implement solutions to safety-related concerns. Dealing with today’s safety challenges requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks; Safer Crocker emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the Crocker Highlands community to take concrete actions to address important safety issues.
