Her Song Jacksonville provides trauma-informed empowerment programs for female sex trafficking victims through residential services and community-based services. Her Song is a trauma-responsive, empowerment driven service provider that receives hundreds of calls annually to assist victims with stabilization and healing. The increased need for safety, housing, and direct care services is evident from the over 590 requests for services Her Song received in 2018 and 2019. Since inception in 2013, more than 1000 trafficking victims have been screened, identified, referred and/or served through Her Song's residential and community-based programs.
