Under One Sky leased space at two western North Carolina summer camps to give specialized, trauma-informed care that includes opportunities to try canoeing, journal-making, whitewater rafting, painting, theater classes, morning nature observations, and much more. Our organization hosted 12 programs over the course of the year that included day-long retreats, overnight weekend camps, and weeklong residential camps for youth in foster care, ages 7-17.
