2018 was the clinics seventh full year of operation. During the year the clinic had 3,460 patient visits. At year end the clinics patient base was 1,530 individuals, roughly 600 of whom are active. Volunteer physicians, a nurse practitioner and a physicians assistant provide primary medical care to clinic patients, the majority of whom have one or more chronic diseases. The clinics top diagnoses are hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, depression, obesity and breathing disorders. In addition to the direct patient care, the clinic assists patients in securing expensive medications and insulin at no charge through the patient assistance programs of the major drug companies; and nutritionists help patients with diet information. Volunteer dentists provide basic restorative dental care three evenings a month at an offsite location. A community case manager meets with new patients to help address socioeconomic needs.
