Mission

About

We held a state conference on disaster preparedness on September 12, 2018, where national speakers presented on their disaster experiences. The state conference was attended by 157 participants. We conducted a significant event readiness forum (SERF) in the western region of Arizona on September 28, 2018, which was a training event focused on flooding of the Colorado River. The SERF event was attended by 57. We conducted our first targeted event readiness forum (TERF) on December 13, 2018, with 90 individuals. TERF events are training events that also address a known disaster gap. Our first TERF event addressed a rural mass casualty incident. We concluded our role as the fiscal steward of five health care coalitions and as the administrator of two of these health care coalitions. We amended and restated our bylaws and updated our policies to reflect our current governance practices and standards.
