Collect, preserve and disseminate the arts, culture and history of the Japanese American experience with a special emphasis on Santa Clara Valley. Develop programs of oral history, hold workshops, forums and teacher training classes. Develop exhibits on the internment and resettlement periods. Take an active role on an outreach program into the community through lectures, visits to high school, college and organizations about civil rights and civil liberties. Plan new exhibits and traveling exhibits.
