The Loma Prieta Community Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation serving the Loma Prieta community in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was founded in 1983 as a non-profit foundation to provide the community support to raise the funds for the construction of the Loma Prieta Community Center. After being part of the successful effort to raise $1,700,000, and completing the building, the foundation focused on many other improvements for the schools and community.
