Educational outreach: October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019, TIP held 2 live webinars for parents and other stakeholders, reaching 143 people across the state. Topics included strategies for increasing vaccination rates for first responders and measles. TIP recorded 3 additional webinars. TIP hosted 2 school nurses' forums (Houston and San Antonio). 181 people attended the forums which reviewed immunization guidelines, vaccine safety and efficacy, and other important information to nurses who work with parents. TIP reached more than 1,000 people through its parent survey and 1,075 people through presentations. TIP continued its building coalitions across Texas program by providing technical assistance to 10 immunization coalitions. TIP had 320 media hits and 27 published op-eds, reaching more than 3.5 million people through social and traditional media, online surveys, webinars, and presentations.
