THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, JLL AIMS TO PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE CHILDEN AND IMPROVE NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION.READ AS ONE IS A LITERACY PROJECT RUN BY THE JLL. READ AS ONE PROMOTES LITERACY WITHIN OUR LONGVIEW COMMUNITY BY WORKING WITH CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS, WOMEN, AND THE ELDERY.GIRL TALK IS A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT RUN BY THE JLL. GIRL TALK IS DESIGNED TO FILL A DEVELOPMENTAL GAP IN 4TH AND 5TH GRADE GIRLS. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS LEAGUE MEMBERS TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT FEMALE DEVELOPMENT.SKILLS FOR SUCCESS IS A MENTORING PROGRAM AIMED TO HELP FEMALES FROM MIDDLE SCHOOL AGES TO ADULTHOOD EXPLORE DIFFERENT CAREER OPTIONS, FIND THEIR PASSION AND GIVE THEM THE TOOLS TO HELP THEM BE SUCCESSFUL.VOLUNTEER MATTERS IS AN ON-LINE TOOL OUR MEMBERS USE TO SIGN-UP AND VOLUNTEER AT THE ABOVE LISTED PROGRAMS.
