Samaritan Medical Outreach Ministries is a Christ-centered mission dedicated to bringing health and healing to individuals and communities of today and to future generations through patient care, education, and research, sharing the love of Jesus Christ and drawing people to him.

About

The organization continues to provide funding for the facilities at Bangalore Baptist Hospital, Bangalore, India. In 2018-2019, 323,363 patients were treated in the hospital outpatient clinics and there were 21,475 adult and pediatric admissions. There were 5,943 operations performed and 2,969 deliveries conducted. In addition, over 50,000 patients were treated through the community health outreach to villages and urban slums. This outreach beyond the hospital continues to grow touching larger populations with primary care, health education, and special programs such as alcohol deaddiction, cardiovascular health, and disability management. In expansion of facilities, two floors of the living and learning center were completed and an additional two floors will be added in the next 12-18 months. The simulation education research center is being well-utilized by the nursing institute and training workshops for hospital staff and outside professionals. Staff housing in the campus has been expanded. Major equipment added recently includes an MRI machine and a new CT scanner (128 slice).
