Mission

Headquartered in Afton, Virginia, Advancing Native Missions (ANM) is an inter-denominational, evangelical, non-profit missions organization that serves as a bridge between native (local) ministries and missionaries and the body of Christ in North America. ANM staff travel to the frontiers of global missions to personally survey and evaluate ministries that are bringing the wonderful news of Jesus to people in their own countries and communities. We look for ministries that adhere to the core beliefs of the evangelical faith, demonstrate financial accountability, and show strong evidence of spiritual fruitfulness. Currently, ANM stands behind more than 10,400 indigenous missionaries who are reaching their own people in 97 different countries around the world.

About

Funds are provided to seek out, evaluate, and support native missions groups with a clear and defined evangelical statement of faith who are working among unreached people groups. The organization shares information about these native missions with evangelical churches and individuals in North America and other regions of the world who are willing to pray and give for the advancement of God's kingdom through these ministries. Visiting native missions leaders work with the organization to declare God's word to the churches of North America and other regions and inspire them to be actively involved in missions at home and abroad.
