Animal and Conservation: The living animal collection includes almost 600 species and nearly 7,000 individual specimens of mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians and invertebrates. Animal programs include a state-of-the-art animal hospital and nutrition lab, animal commissary and conservation research center.
