About

The Salesmanship Club of Dallas (SCD) sponsors the programs of Momentous Institute. Momentous Institute provides education for low income children and therapeutic services for troubled children and their families. Momentous School serves 248 inner-city students from age 3 through 5th grade. The school is ranked as exemplary based on state-mandated test scores. Each year Momentous Institute provides a wide range of therapeutic services for families with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Across all services a total of more than 5,000 children and their family members were served in fiscal year 2018. In addition, Momentous Institute provides training in effective practices to educators and mental health professionals each year. In addition, Momentous Institute also invests in research and training, including the Changing the Odds Conference to reach far more children than can ever be served directly.
