St. Mark's Medical Center (SMMC) is a community health provider that serves the community regardless of any individual's race, creed, nationality, or ability to pay for services including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care in support of the hospital's healthcare mission. During the year ended June 30, 2019, we had 1,056 admissions, 3,783 patient days, 8,575 ER visits, 297 inpatient surgeries and 813 outpatient surgeries. The average daily census was 10.36 patients and the average length of stay was 3.58 days. SMMC utilizes the most advanced technologies rivaling those of major cities in a comfortable environment close to home.
