About
At Comfort House, we focus on supplying kids essential needsincluding food, clothing, school supplies, and a safe place to study and play. Comfort House gives kids meals and snacks that fight an empty stomach and promote good health. We also make sure they have well-fitting clothes and shoes so the children can begin each day feeling comfortable and confident. In addition, we provide backpacks full of necessary supplies so that the kids enter the classroom prepared to learn and succeed. Once these basics are provided, we show them what Austin has to offer, providing opportunities for growth and education through our Explore Program and Camp Flo. Our hope is to enrich the kids lives, build their sense of community, and guide them as they discover their passion and shape their future goals.
