THE FAMILY REHOUSING INITIATIVE (FRI) PROGRAM IS A HOUSING FOCUSED SHELTER AND RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF FRI IS TO ENSURE THAT FAMILIES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS HAVE ACCESS TO SHELTER, CASE MANAGEMENT AND RAPID REHOUSING ASSISTANCE. FRI'S SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ASSIST CLIENTS IN TRANSITIONING FROM HOMELESSNESS INTO PERMANENT AND STABLE HOUSING. OUR HOUSING FOCUSED SHELTER MODEL MOTIVATES AND GUIDES FAMILIES TO STABLE HOUSING AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. FOUNDATION FOR THE HOMELESS PROVIDES RAPID RE-HOUSING THROUGH THE BEST SINGLE SOURCE PLUS PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. THIS MULTI-AGENCY COLLABORATIVE FOCUSES ON CASE MANAGEMENT FOR OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING SAFE AND STABLE HOUSING. THE FEED MY PEOPLE PROGRAM (FMP) IS THE FOUNDING PROGRAM FOR FFH, OPEN TO ANYONE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND/OR POVERTY. THIS LONGSTANDING, VOLUNTEER RUN PROGRAM IS A PARTNERSHIP OF FFH AND A NUMBER OF RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES IN THE AUSTIN AREA. FEED MY PEOPLE PREPARES A HOT, NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST TWICE A WEEK. TOILETRIES, SHOWERS, READING GLASSES, EYE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING, AA MEETINGS AND ASSISTANCE WITH OBTAINING IDS AND BIRTH CERTIFICATES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN A SAFE, WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT.
