The best single source plus collaborative (BBS+), consisting of 12 agencies, provides individuals/families in Austin/Travis County with comprehensive housing stability resources (case management and basic needs services). BSS+ ensures that clients have access to basic necessities - starting with housing - and extending to food, clothing, physical/mental health care, and other supportive services. The program provides comprehensive case management and basic needs services (rent, mortgage, utility assistance and housing supports) for households experiencing homelessness (rapid rehousing) and housed clients who are experiencing a housing crisis (homelessness prevention). Participating agencies include: AIDS services of Austin, Any Baby Can, Caritas of Austin, Catholic Charities of Central Texas, Family Eldercare, Foundation for the Homeless, Front Steps, Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, Lifeworks, Meals on Wheels, Safe Place, and Salvation Army.
