Caaws provided food, shelter, veterinary services and pet adoptions (approx 90) for homeless animals primarily in the Baton Rouge, La. metro area. Spay and neuter services were provided for dogs and cats throughout the year. Caaws issued 206 $25.00 spay/neuter coupons which are reedemable at particpating veterinary clinics. To help with low income families, Caaws issued 108 spay/neuter vouchers which covered the full cost of surgery. Caaws also issued 383 feral cat vouchers which covered the cost of spay and neuter for feral cats.
