About
We implement our mission by producing an annual series of festivals and cultural arts events. Each year our goal is to organize at least 5 major festivals, produce master artist performances, and offer workshops that attract 3000 people. Our annual cultural events feature performances by non-profit arts ensembles, by community groups and by master artists whose work preserves the Balkans rich cultural heritage. We engage educators, publicists and outreach workers to design and implement the most effective presentation of Croatian and Balkan culture to the public. In 2018 we organized five (5) major festivals; SF Croatian Heritage Festival, SF Tamburitza Festival, SF Festival of the Mandolins, The Kiril and Methody Bulgarian Festivaal, Kolo Festival 2018 -67th Annual, and five (5) events; Slavic Christmas Choral Concert, Childrens Celebration of Ethnic Dance, Beyond the Borders: Meraklii & Edessa, Beyond the Border: Danubius, Meraklii & Eszterlanc. Theodosii Spassov Folk Quintet. The festivals and events were attended by 3400 people
