About

The GAP Youth Training Services, Inc. is a California non-profit religious corporation formed in 1998 with the purpose of providing facilitative leadership for Christian youth workshops for young people ages 13-18 years old as well as adults. The workshops are designed to open people's eyes to see the value of who they are, their God-given uniquesness and what they have to contribute. The outcome is elevated self-esteem, a deeper sense of community, forgiveness, repentance, a closer connection with family, and empowerment to make choices based on the future that they are committed to having. The workshops are 2, 3 or 4 day experiential-based learning, including a ropes course, lectures, group discussion and worship time. To fulfill the purpose, we also train and develop facilitators for the workshops. This process involves the Minister interviewing and selecting candidates, providing training material, monthly coaching, on-going study and review of applicable study materials and the actual hands-on training in the workshops themselves. The facilitators respond to requests for the workshops from various organizations across the United States and abroad, including adult workshops on character development. No grants are received.2017 U.S. Training Programs:2 Transformational Leadership Training: Baltimore, MD 2/11 - 2/12/17 and Arlington, VA 9/22 - 9/23/171 Opening: Azusa, CA 1/21 - 1/22/175 Awaken Trainings: (2) Burbank, CA 2/23 - 2/26/17 and 6/1 - 6/4/1; Grand Rapids, MI 11/30 - 12/3/17; Covina, CA 9/14 - 9/17/17; Crossing the Jordan Awaken Training in Santa Rosa CA 6/26 - 6/29/172 Reveal Seminars: Azusa, CA 5/19 - 5/21/17; Alexandria, VA 6/9 - 6/11/171 Fusion Marriage Workshop: Colorado Springs, CO 8/18 - 8/20/173 LEAP Youth Trainings: Santa Rosa, CA 7/31 - 8/3/17; Idyllwild, CA 6/14 - 6/17/17; Grand Rapids, MI 12/27 - 12/30/17GAP Partner Conference: November 9-112017 International Missions:January 1-12 - ZambiaFebruary 28-March 13 Zambia and South AfricaMay 22-31 PhilippinesJuly 11-26 ZambiaNovember 13-21 Haiti
