About this organization
Mission
Teen Services Sonoma (TSS) engages and supports teens and young adults with work-readiness skills and experiences that empower them to succeed.
About
Sonoma Valley Teen Services' (DBA Teen Services Sonoma) Ready to Work (RTW) program is a multi-tiered job readiness and career exploration program for youth ages 14-24. RTW is open to all Sonoma Valley youth, although 71% of our participants are Latino. Those starting the RTW program undergo personal intake interviews to assess needs, career interests, and the most appropriate entry point. Our programs include the operation of micro- businesses, work-readiness and on-the-job training, job placement services and ongoing job and career coaching. Our process allows teens to gain practical experiences, helping to prepare them for meaningful careers in trades, occupations, professions, and small-business ownership.
