The Governors Hurricane Conference (GHC) is conducted annually to educate those in attendance on issues relating to hurricanes so they may in turn educate the public and prepare for their safety. The GHC attracts emergency management related professionals from around the state, country and the world to attend training, state of the art workshops and partner networking events. The annual event was held in West Palm Beach, Florida May 12-17, 2019. 2,331 attendees, exhibitors, guests and media representatives were in attendance. The 2019 GHC provided over 283 training hours to attendees. Additionally, 65 workshops offered panel presentations and roundtable discussions on a myriad of emergency response related topics.
