To enhance the lives of our students and families by improving their literary skills.

One on one tutoring, students and tutors meet once or twice a week for at least 1.5 hours and work together on their English. Students are at different levels of English and are tutored accordingly. Students are 55% Hispanic, 25% Haitian, 20% from Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Far East, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey. All students remain in the program for at least one year and many remain longer. All students improve their English by at least 2 levels of English. Small group classes are also operated at the LVCC facility at local churches.
