TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES IN REACHING THEIR GOALS FOR INDEPENDENCE AND TO CREATE SOCIETAL CHANGE TO PROMOTE ACCEPTANCE AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO BE FULLY INCLUDED IN ALL ASPECTS OF COMMUNITY LIFE. ANNUALLY APPROXIMATELY 4,000 CHILDREN, TEENS AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES RECEIVE FREE COACHING, TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE TO HELP THEM GET A SUPERIOR EDUCATION, COMPETE FOR AND EARN A JOB, FIND AN APARTMENT OR HOME AND LEARN TO LIVE HAPPILY IN SOCIETY. MANY CLIENTS ARE VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE. (STATEMENT CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) ALSO ADVOCACY - INDIVIDUAL AND SYSTEMIC INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL, VOCATIONAL, EMPLOYMENT,HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, BENEFIT ENTITLEMENT AND ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY, INFORMATION & REFERRAL,INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS TRAINING, PEER SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND TRANSITION ADVOCACY FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES, AFTER SCHOOL/SUMMER PROGRAM FOR ADOLESCENTS/YOUNG ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES TO PREPARE FOR EMPLOYMENT/CONTINUING EDUCATION, CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROJECT AND THE DINE PROGRAM (DISABILITY INCLUSION AND NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION).
