THE ADULT CRISIS STABILIZATION UNITS SEEK TO REDUCE THE NEED FOR PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITALIZATION AMONG THOSE PEOPLE EXHIBITING ACUTE MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS BY PROVIDING INTENSIVE CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC STABILIZATION WITH ONGOING MEDICAL ASSESSMENT AND CARE, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SOCIAL INTERACTIONS FOR MORE THAN 6,840 CLIENTS. ASPIRE HEALTH PARTNERS OPERATES A 40 BED ADULT INPATIENT DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES SHORT-TERM (AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY OF APPROXIMATELY 3 TO 10 DAYS) INTENSIVE DETOXIFICATION SERVICES FOR PERSONS ADDICTED TO NARCOTICS, OTHER OPIATES, ALCOHOL, AND/OR COCAINE. BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE IS PROVIDED BY MASTER LEVEL, LICENSED OR ELIGIBLE COUNSELING STAFF. MEDICAL AND PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONERS ARE AVAILABLE TO MEET THE INITIAL AND ONGOING NEEDS OF THESE CLIENTS; OVER 2,310 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN THIS TREATMENT PROGRAM DURING FISCAL YEAR END JUNE 30, 2019.
