Mission
The Cramer Children’s Center is dedicated to assisting children, adolescents and their families with trauma resulting from abuse, violence or neglect. We provide medical examinations for forensic purposes, forensic interviews, counseling and follow-up for the victims of abuse. We actively advocate for children by working with law enforcement, the Department of Human Resources, and prosecutors to pursue appropriate legal action against the perpetrators. In addition to these services for victims the Center also provides education and training for professionals and area agencies on child abuse prevention, advocacy, and mandatory reporting.
