Mission

UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley's mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and promote their independence, self-sufficiency and full citizenship in the community. UCP supports individuals with disabilities regardless of age or disability, and their families, through an array of local and statewide services. Local counties served include Madison, Marshall, Limestone, Morgan, Cullman and Jackson Counties, Alabama. Over 1,000 clients annually benefit from physical, occupational and speech therapy; early intervention; caregiver, child development and inclusion training; respite; assistive technology; and advocacy. UCP is consistently rated as one of the most financially responsible charities, with about 95% of every dollar spent directly on programs.
