Mission

The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing emergency care through education and advocacy.  We proudly serve Emergency Physicians, Nurses and First Responders throughout the state of Florida by continually delivering quality education and lifesaving training techniques.  Our fully-accredited education programs address the ever-changing needs of emergency medical providers and help ensure that you, your loved ones and all of Florida’s citizens and visitors continue to receive cutting edge, emergency pre-hospital and emergency care.

About

The Foundation operates for charitable and educational purposes by advancing education and research in the field of emergency medicine. Multiple conferences and seminars which addressed critical and timely topics for emergency care providers were held thoughout the year. Accredited continuing medical education (CME) courses were offered via live training, webinars, and online through our learning management system. We continued to offer the "Safe Opioid Prescribing for Acute Pain" course to help meet Florida state mandate for DEA license holders. FEMF provides continuing education to more than 5,000 of the nation's emergency care providers.
