The mission of Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness.

24/7 LOW BARRIER RESIDENTIAL SHELTER: No one should be without safe shelter, nutritious meals, hygiene and access to assistance and resources. We provided 24/7, low barrier residential shelter for 1,900 men, women and children, including 430 children this fiscal year. Of those who have exited, 925 individuals moved into permanent housing from our shelter services. As a first line of homeless services in our community, our priority is serving the most vulnerable homeless individuals. We keep families together. Every shelter guest can count on coming back to their own personal space throughout each day and night without worry. There are no mandatory fees. All shelter guests may receive a wide range of services focused on each unique need and personalized choice, such as medical/mental health care; legal counsel; employment; educational childcare and Pre-K; and specialized services for veterans and victims of crime. housing-focused shelter, our trained staff begins a conversation with every guest on the first day that focuses on finding appropriate housing as quickly as possible, and then helps them make it happen.
