About this organization
Mission
Central Care Mission is a men's residential Life Skills Center. Participants develop life skills around five core areas: Spiritual, Vocational, Emotional, Financial, Physical. These life skills are framed with an overall Christian Worldview. We define success when residents obtain stable jobs and ongoing education, live in stable housing, own or have access to stable transportation, restore broken relationships and give back to the community. These powerful skills and critical outcomes significantly reduce the probability of poverty, homelessness, addictions, and the necessity to live in abusive circumstances.
About
Central Care Mission annually served approximately 70 men in its housing program during its most recent fiscal year while continuing to make a significant impact on the homeless and those with alcohol and drug addictions in the Central Florida region. The programs residents receive, among other things, pastoral counseling, job placement, and other life training skills to utlimately achive independence and a successful reintegration with the community. The Organizations mentoring program continues to make a significant impact with over 30 local businesses who instill new hope and purpose for these men. The Good News Program continues to provide a nutritious breakfast to approximately 150 homeless individuals every Sunday morning in the Metro Orlando area. This time also serves as an opportunity to provide information of all services available to these homeless individuals including those provided by Central Care Mission.
