JFS Orlando's mission is to provide services to stabilize individuals and families in crisis and enhance the quality of life across generations to all members of the Central Florida community. Services are provided regardless of religion, race/ethnicity, age, gender or disability. We achieve our mission by providing services in the following key areas: Emergency Services—Emergency food assistance through our Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry and the Family Stabilization Program—a six-month preventative case management program designed to help at-risk families achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Counseling, Growth and Development Program—Mental health counseling services for children, individuals, couples, families and groups.Community Services—RIDE (Reliable Independent Drivers for the Elderly) Program—a transportation assistance program to medical appointments and other life-sustaining services for seniors and disabled adults, Computer Lab, Chaplaincy and Volunteer Services.

THE COUNSELING PROGRAM PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN, COUPLES AND FAMILIES. ALL OF JFS ORLANDO'S THERAPISTS HAVE MASTER'S DEGREES IN A MENTAL HEALTH FIELD AND ARE EITHER LICENSED OR WORKING TOWARD LICENSURE.JFS ORLANDO ACCEPTS MOST MAJOR INSURANCES (INCLUDING MEDICAID, MEDICARE AND COMMERCIAL INSURANCES) AND IS ONE OF THE FEW AGENCIES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA TO OFFER A SLIDING SCALE FEE FOR SERVICES.JFS PROVIDED MORE THAN 3,600 COUNSELING SESSIONS IN 2019.
