Valerie's House helps children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. The vision is that no child will grieve alone. Valerie's House is devoted to providing children, ages 4 to 19, and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one, a safe place to share feelings and experience loving support while moving through the grieving and healing process. Under the guidance of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Qualified Supervisor and a dedicated program team, Valerie's House programs help grieving children achieve mental and emotional health and balance. Additionally, Valerie's House provides each child's caregiver(s) with tools to identify the changing faces of grief and build coping skills for the family to heal together.
