About this organization
Mission
Advocating for the needs of youth
About
Surry community service/restitution - The restitution/community service program is designed to encourage court ordered juvenile offenders to take responsibility for their conduct. This is accomplished by giving the juvenile an opportunity to perform community service hours ordered by the court at one of our volunteer work sites. The youth also has the opportunity to work and earn money to repay the victim who has suffered damages by the youth's actions. The program thus helps the juvenile develop a greater sense of self-worth and responsibility for their behavior.
