Mission

To strengthen the ability of foster and relative care families to meet the needs of their displaced children by implementing a community-based resource that can decrease the need for institutionalized care

About

We gave free clothes, infant equipment and developmental resources to over 4,568 foster children in Georgia's basic care and relative care foster homes. Infant equipment provides safe homes for foster children while developmental resources such as books provide educational opportunities. Other basic need items are distributed as well such as school supplies, toiletries and backpacks. For foster families outside the metro Atlanta area, items are shipped to the relevant county DFACS office to be picked up.
